Objective:

Conceptualize and execute branding and strategy for a start-up tech accessories company in Irvine, CA.

Challenges:

Finding the connective tissue between architecture and industrial design. Incredibly tight timeline.

Solution:

Contrast with scale. Pushing the visual hierarchy of elements to their limits. Blending images that distort the viewers sense of large and small.

It was important for me to try to utilize as much motion as I could. Both to elevate the visuals and to make them more engaging.

Having many years of experience in the tech accessories industry has given me a thorough understanding of the merchandising environment that exists in this very saturated field. Packaging is generally a trade-off between accessibility, security, and messaging. My goal was to find the sweet spot between these variables. With this window box packaging, customers can get a full appreciation of the product, carriers do not need to remove any product from packaging at the point of sale, and the brand has enough space for product messaging.
